N KID TO RECEIVE 40 MILLION USD FROM SCPE INVESTMENT FUND
In Sep 29th 2016, the strategic partnership signing ceremony between NKID and SCPE (Standard Chartered Private Equity) took place in… Accordingly, NKID has just received an investment of 40 million USD from SCPE fund which will become a major shareholder of N KID.
Since its establishment in 2009, N KID now has become the owner of 30 edutainement centers tiNiWorld and T Club, Phuong Nga Toys toy distribution company as well as 20 stores of Toyland and Babyland. N Kid has witness remarkable growth since then.
After several rounds of thorough negotiation N KID has selected SCPE as partner. SCPE will contribute in terms of valuable operation experience, creating opportunities for next steps of growth for NKID in the future. The SCPE’s fund shall be spent on the scale expansion of N KID throughout the whole country as well as developing new business units.
Mr Thomas Ngo – N KID CEO said: “ We are very thrilled to work with SCPE because they share the same enterprise vision, also we are very optimistic about the business potentials and aim to expand the system in order to bring out the internationally certified products and service to all modern families in Vietnam”. Mrs. Thuy Dropsey, SCPE director stated:” We are aiming to speed up N KID’s development in Vietnam and help them to achieve long term goals”.
